Is Monkey Business open 24/7?
Yes, for members. With an active membership you can work here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Reception is staffed every day from 07:30 to 23:30 — if you want to come in outside those hours, let the team know while reception is open so your access can be arranged.
Can I work late at night or early in the morning?
Yes — plenty of members work to other time zones. Arrange late-night or early-morning access with reception before 23:30. Late at night you may occasionally hear background sound or feel vibration from other venues in the building; most people don't notice it, but it's worth knowing if you're sensitive to noise.
Is the coworking space air-conditioned?
Yes. Most of the space has full air conditioning, including the private Monkey Booth for calls.
How do I join or buy a coworking pass?
Come to reception any day between 07:30 and 23:30 and we'll get you set up. Passes run from a single hour up to a full year, with prices listed on this page. Want to look around first? Book a tour and we'll show you the space.
Are monitors included?
Yes. A 22" monitor, keyboard and mouse are included with all memberships. If you need more — a larger or second monitor, a computer, a laptop riser or a desk fan — you can rent it from our equipment catalogue.
Is there a meeting room or somewhere private to take calls?
Yes. The Monkey Booth is a private, air-conditioned room for 2–4 people, set up for Teams, Zoom and Google Meet calls. It's bookable and free for all members.
Is there a quiet room?
Yes. The Quiet Room seats 4–8 people and is kept conversation-free for focused work. There's no need to reserve it — just walk in.
Where is Monkey Business?
We're at 2F (Above Free Descent Bar), 641, Phra-Ae, Koh Lanta, Krabi 81150, Thailand — on Phra-Ae (Long Beach), on Koh Lanta's west coast.
How reliable is the internet?
We run dual 1 Gbps fibre connections with failover backup, plus WiFi across the space, so a single outage won't knock you offline.
Do you serve food?
Our café is drinks only — coffee, smoothies, juices, beers and local ales. For a bite to eat, the Snack Stop has grab-and-go snacks such as noodle pots, crisps and energy bars, and there's free hot water whenever you need it.
Are you open in low season?
Yes. Monkey Business is open all year — high season, shoulder season and green season — so there's always a workspace for you on the island.
